How does a Centrifugal pump work?
The centrifugal pump impeller, which may be a semi open impeller or another design depending on the application, is mounted on a shaft driven by an electric motor. As it rotates, this essential part of industrial centrifugal pumps transfers energy to the liquid, thereby increasing pressure. The increase in pressure is due to the centrifugal force generated, a principle common to various types of centrifugal pumps, which subsequently increases the kinetic energy of the liquid.
